K9 dog grooming salon offers a range of grooming services, from a basic 'bath and brush' to a more specialised groom such as scissoring and styling. Whether you want your dog groomed to the recognised style of its breed, or your own requirement, you know he will be in safe hands with Rebecca.
The salon is a quiet and relaxed environment and Rebecca will handle your dog 'one to one', in a kind and caring manner, as if he was her own.
The salon is equipped with the latest 'Hydrobath Pro'. This is a luxury bathing system for your dog.
Only the finest grooming products are used, including Requal. These products provide a stunning finish, and won't damage or irritate your dog's skin, ensuring that not only will he look amazing but will smell divine and feel fabulous.
The Hydrobath Pro Ultra
With the latest technology the revolutionary hydrobath pro provides a luxury spa experience for your dog. Not only does it relax and pamper your dog with its massaging effect, it can also provide health benefits and promote the well-being of your dog.The hydro-combing action of the spray head will help to stimulate the skin, in turn providing a therapeutic massage for your dog, allowing for better blood circulation, and the relieving of tired muscles which is especially good for the older dog or those with muscular injuries. Full deep coat penetration, the high volume mix of shampoo and water from the powerful shower head penetrates the coat getting right to the skin helping remove any dry dead skin cells and other materials that can be hard to get rid of, this is especially good for dogs with longer and thicker coats providing superior bathing and cleansing.
The hydrobath has a removable door which makes the bath much easier to access for the larger breeds, and for the smaller breeds there is a Small Dog Rinser which is a platform to raise them up so the bath is not so overwhelming.
Professional grooming products including Requal.
Over the years I have tried and tested many shampoos, conditioners and dog grooming products on my own dogs and others. I keep a range of different high quality shampoos and products including 'Requal'. All the shampoos serve a different purpose. This will be discussed at your grooming appointment to ascertain which one will suit and complement your dogs coat and skin condition.
Requal Grooming System
The Requal grooming system is a complex formula including vitamins, mineral salts, proteins, amino acids, trace elements and essential oils. These products are like no other, they provide stunning results and finish to the coat and won't damage or irritate your dogs skin, ensuring that not only will your dog look amazing but will smell divine and feel fabulous.
I have been involved the dog world for over 30 years, starting with Irish Setters as a young junior handler. After finishing school I went to residential college to gain my qualifications in Animal Care, Kennel & Cattery Management and Dog Grooming, knowing that this was the career path I wanted to take. My English Setters came along around 15 years ago Redhara Setters and since then I have 'made up' 7 UK Show Champions. I have won numerous top awards at dog shows, including many first prizes at Crufts. I Judge dog shows in the UK and abroad and I am the official photographer for The Kennel Club's working gundog tests and events, which includes the HPR (Hunt Point Retrieve) and Cocker Spaniel Championships. Over my 25 years of experience I have groomed many dogs, from family pets to Crufts winning show dogs, and have previously owned a very successful grooming parlour within a busy local boarding kennel.
